1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the kWh Coffee Roasters website and the purchase of products from us. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

kWh Coffee Roasters is operated from Raylor Centre, James Street, York, YO10 3DW.

2. Products and Orders

2.1 Product Information

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, and prices are accurate. However, we reserve the right to correct any errors or inaccuracies. Product images are for illustration purposes and actual products may vary slightly.

2.2 Placing an Order

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase our products. We will send you an order confirmation email, but this does not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract is formed only when we dispatch your order.

2.3 Prices

All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

3. Payment

Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering. We accept major credit and debit cards and other payment methods as displayed at checkout. All payments are processed securely through our payment provider.

4. Delivery

4.1 Delivery Areas

We deliver throughout the UK. For York addresses, we offer local delivery by electric vehicle. International shipping may be available for some products.

4.2 Delivery Times

We aim to dispatch orders within 1-3 working days. Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout but are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.

4.3 Risk and Title

Risk of loss and damage passes to you upon delivery. Title to the products passes to you when we receive full payment.

5. Subscriptions

If you sign up for a coffee subscription, you agree to receive regular deliveries at the frequency and price agreed at signup. You may cancel or modify your subscription at any time by contacting us or through your account. Changes must be made at least 3 days before your next scheduled delivery to take effect.

6. Returns and Refunds

6.1 Consumer Rights

As a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision before the cancellation period expires.

6.2 Exceptions

Due to the perishable nature of coffee, we cannot accept returns of opened products. However, if you're not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us and we'll do our best to make it right.

6.3 Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or you receive incorrect items, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost.

7. Website Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Use our website in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or networks
  • Transmit any harmful code, viruses, or malware
  • Collect or harvest information from our website without permission
  • Impersonate any person or entity

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of kWh Coffee Roasters or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or products. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. B2B Customers

Business customers may be subject to additional or different terms as agreed in writing. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 do not apply to business-to-business transactions.

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. Changes will not affect orders that have already been placed. Please check this page regularly to stay informed.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
