How is it roasted, and on what energy?
Low-carbon, smokeless, ventless roasters at the Raylor Centre, York. No gas on site. Batches are timed into the grid’s low-carbon half-hours and every roast is logged.
Can you give per-kilo emissions, and show the method?
Yes. Supplier-specific figures for your purchases, with the boundary and sources written down in the Scope 3 report, not a number pulled from a database.
How does the green coffee travel?
Sea freight only. Air freight emits 20 to 47 times more CO₂e per tonne-kilometre, so we do not use it, even when a lot is late.
Can you trace every lot to its source?
Direct-trade relationships through small, knowledgeable importers. Farm, lot and process records shared with partners on request.

Our own electric van across York and North Yorkshire. Everywhere else in the UK goes by tracked courier, and we say so rather than calling it zero.
What happens when volumes change?
No minimum contract and no minimum order. Volume pricing as you grow, and the data pack scales with the kilos.
