Mikafi reservation terms
Last updated 2 November 2026
1. Who we are
kWh Coffee is a trading name of Morning People Ltd, Companies House No. 16660094, Raylor Centre, James Street, York, YO10 3DW. In these terms, "we" and "us" means Morning People Ltd, and "you" means the business reserving a roaster.
2. What the deposit is
You pay a deposit of £300 by card to reserve a Mikafi roaster from us. It starts our site check and your quote.
The deposit is not the price of the roaster, and paying it does not commit you to buying one.
3. What happens next
We get in touch to check your site: your power, your space and how much coffee you use. Then we send you a written quote.
You only agree to buy a roaster when you accept a quote in writing. The quote sets out the price, what is included and its own terms.
4. Your deposit and the price
Your quote says whether your deposit counts towards the price of the roaster.
5. Getting your deposit back
You can have your deposit back in full, for any reason, if you ask within 30 days of paying it. Email hello@kwhcoffee.com with the email address you paid with.
If we have not sent you a quote within those 30 days, you can still have it back in full at any time until we do. If we cannot supply a roaster for your site, we refund it in full.
We refund to the card you paid with. Your bank may take a few working days to show it.
6. Who can reserve
Reservations are for businesses in the UK and Ireland. If you reserve as a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.
7. Payment and your details
Stripe takes the payment for us, and we never see your full card number. We use the details you give us to contact you about your reservation and your quote, as our privacy policy sets out.
8. Changes and law
If we change these terms, your deposit stays under the terms in place when you paid it.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
