Why we measure from the UK port
We measure emissions from the UK port to your cup. Before the port, we say what we know and what we do not. Farm and processing are usually the largest part of a coffee’s footprint, and most producers and importers do not measure them, so we show that gap rather than fill it with a number we cannot stand behind.
